Hearing is a glorious faculty but it is selective.
We hear what we want to hear.
We choose what we want to hear.
Often, our lack of hearing has nothing to do with being deaf.
The solemn warning of both Old and New testaments is simply; “today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts”. The true centre of our hearing.
